Need some help from you battery gurus. I'm planning on running 1x18650 in a 2x18500 body. Partly because I have a Leefbody in a 2x18500 size, and partly because I like that form factor for an M3 head. But, I need something to fill the extra 35mm of space and complete the connection. I want it to be a safe config (of course), and it would also be nice if it had a little bit of weight to it to balance it out.

Any ideas, or can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

-Rich

The only important thing is that the dummy cell be wrapped/insulated so the metal inside doesn't short against the wall of the light. Everything else is less precise. You just need something close to the size and shape of an 18350. A little taller/shorter is probably fine, a little narrower is probably fine.

Try a Google for dummy cells or battery spacers.

Yes, as EG notes above, this is what is critical.

There are a few members here who will fabricate spacers to custom specs, and who do excellent work. PM me, if you would like further info 🙂

( ... and its 35 mm extra, not 350 ) - 😉

Thanks for the responses! I'm going to reach out to Eric to create one of these for me, and until then the 16340 spacer will do the trick!

Thanks again.
