2 Rite Aids in my area are clearancing Duracell 30 min and Accu Quick chargers at 50% off.
The 30 min with 4x2050maH AA was $40 now $20

One store also has the Accu Quick Charger by itself, was $20 now $10

Got that one for my good woman, who was progressive enough to get Duracell 2500s for her digicam, but no charger! And she was all distraught when they crapped out after 2 days. Silly girl.:grin2:

There was a little variety of 30 min and 1 hour quick chargers, one store had 2 different combo packs, the other had only the 30 min combo and the Accu with no cells.

Also, the 2nd store had this stuff marked as "2 dollars off", and when I asked an employee if that was right, she rang it up and it was indeed 50% off, not $2! So it must be all Rite Aids.

I only own the Accu so far, and it does well enough for me, takes about an hour to charge one 2500 cell. When doing 4 cells at a time, they only charger to about 1.33, so I usually put them back in individually afterward, and they charge back up to full.
Hope you guys can grab up some of these!

Also, my Target has Duracell 9v's on 30% clearance, and Energizer Titanium 18pks on 30% clearance(were $8.xx for the 18pk).
I'm giving them another week to get to 50 or 75%.

Thanks for the heads-up. Any feedback on the quality of these chargers? I didn't see any Duracell chargers in the Charger Shootout.

The only feedeback I have is what I wrote above.
Last night I put 4 Energiser2500s in the Accu, and after 3 hours 45mins they got really hot. I pulled them because I was charging them for the gf, and she was leaving, so I couldn't test the voltage or anything like that.

Right now I've got a Sanyo2500 and a Targus 2000 in it, I want to see how they finish, and if they heat up being charged together.

Are any of these chargers 4-channel chargers or are they single or dual channels only (where I can only charge in pairs)?
Thanks.

Again, can only speak for the Accu, I've done 1,2 and 4 in it. Haven;t tried 3 yet, but will as soon as my Blaster Jr. finished off the 3 Sanyo2500s in it. That sucker is taking FOREVER to die off with those, I've got to be in the high teens or 20-something hours on and off with it.

EDIT-I can charge in any of the bays when in pairs, I'll use #1 and #2, you don't need to use 1 and 3.

The Duracell 30 minute four battery charger is a quad channel, but you can't charge AAs and AAAs at the sametime.

To get a full charge, contrary to the instruction manual, you need to let it charge until the fan turns off as the lights turns off at exactly 30 minutes or when batteries are full, whichever occurs first. With drained 2,000mAh+ batteries, the light goes out first, so expect around 45-60 minutes to fully charge 2,500mAh batteries.

Yep, seems the Sanyo's are only charged to about 1.40-something before the LEDs indicate they're done. Then if you take them out and put them right back on, they'll charge up closer to 1.5.
Alos, I don't know if this Accu has a fan, I've still never heard any sort of noise coming from it. It does get hot and the cells will also get hot, when charging for more than 3 hours, but I still haven't heard any sort of fan noises.
Handlo, were you talking about the 30 min charger in your post?
