DX CREE XML 5 MODE convert to 1 MODE

Hi All

I have bought the CREE XML T6 DX SKU 58481 and don't want the 5 mode operation. I want only the high mode. I read this thread about the jumper between the 4 pin kai the 5 pin but it does not working.

I am not familiar with that particular board, but it may be possible to bypass the switching by connecting the ground to the sense resistor. I suspect the sense resistor is the larger one marked "201" near your ground wire. Try measuring voltage from the v+ pad to the 201 resistor and toggle through modes.

Other than that, I can't tell from the photos you posted whether or not you connected your power to the correct pin pad as per the instructions in the other thread.

Yes the voltage was changing between modes but no results when I was conecting the groung to the resistor. After many tries I burn the driver.
Anyway is there any drive with 1 only mode or any better driver with more ampers that can be modified to 1mode.
