Received it today and as fast as a mouse :laughing: i swapped it in these 2 flashlights
sku3379 & sku4540
And the results was WOW !

sku4540 1x18650 protected ( 15 feet)

sku3379 1xAW rcr123 (15 feet)

P1DCE Q5 (15 feet)

These Q5 WC is really nice tint with slight vanilla and come with a really nice price :kiss:

looks sweet, i have one in my electronics box just waiting for the right host to come along, im thinking it will be a C2 when i finally get one soon, and one of the DX dropins at 900ma...that should be bright...:huh:

I ordered 3 SAIK RC-A3's and 3 Q5's on 16mm boards...hope the outcome is a WOW upgrade too.

Is that the 11074? If so, I was thinking about ordering, but I have 3 open orders with DX and I don't want to open another knowing that I'll have to wait 1.5 months. How long was the wait?

No that's not sku11074 but sku11023 ordered on 2/15/08 received 3/3/08

Sorry, my bad. I didn't see the "14mm base" in your post. But thanks for the reply anyway. I wonder how their Q5 drop-in is compared to the emitter you ordered? Hmm...maybe I'll order one even though I still have 3 seperate orders still partially open from DX :sigh:

for sku4540 i use this driver (sku 7426)
for sku 3379 i use this driver (sku 7879)
i had to trim these 2 drivers in order to fit the pill.
The brightness should be the same but beam radiation pattern should be decided by the effectiveness of the reflector.
