E1 Beam Shaper

Somebody to experienced with the beam shaper in the E1? It's reduced the brightness? The quality of the beam is affected? Your comments will be appreciate

I consider the beamshaper to be a very handy tool for the E series SF. The E1 has a very tight beam & not that great for close work. The beamshaper makes the light output look like a very bright, white LED light. I don't think it cuts down on the light as much as it spreads it over a large area. Also protects the lens. TX
