I've been looking for feedback, reviews, etc.. of these bodies but have been unable to find any - can anyone who has one comment on their experiences using them? Of particular interest is the switch and the reliability, tactile feel, etc... of the built in switch.

Many thanks!

I have three and use the 1x18500 and the 1x18650 quite often. They are my everyday lights for going outside and walking through the house with the lights off plus my son plays with the 1x18650 all the time. I have not had any problems with the switch and I would compare the feel to a SF Z59.

The only problem I might see if you were using one with gloves is that it might be hard to press in the switch. The switch is just about even with the body and needs to be pressed below the outer lip. If you had fat fingers with gloves on, it might be difficult to press the switch in.

The momentary on is a very short throw and easily activates the light. You should not have any problem activating the momentary on function with gloves.
