Stupid west coast....... THE CLOCK WINS AGAIN!!!!

It was actually available a full day before I bought mine, so it pays to keep checking. 🙂

I guess I was the first to check the thread and notice that fivemega had updated the 1st post to indicate the availability of the bodies, and thereafter it was a matter of who was subscribed to the thread.

I have three and use the 1x18500 and the 1x18650 quite often. They are my everyday lights for going outside and walking through the house with the lights off plus my son plays with the 1x18650 all the time. I have not had any problems with the switch and I would compare the feel to a SF Z59.

The only problem I might see if you were using one with gloves is that it might be hard to press in the switch. The switch is just about even with the body and needs to be pressed below the outer lip. If you had fat fingers with gloves on, it might be difficult to press the switch in.

The momentary on is a very short throw and easily activates the light. You should not have any problem activating the momentary on function with gloves.

Thanks for the feedback - now if I can catch one of those 18650 bodies when they roll across the thread again!

Does anyone know what the length of the 2x18500 body is? Better yet, anyone have a picture of this body with an E1/E2 bezel? Thanks! :candle:

I see gray single 18650 #25-30 have been added (no 29?) to the list, I hope this isn't a mistake...

:paypal: for #25 Gray E series single 18650 body, $36 + $4 S&H to U.S. = $40 sent.

Thanks,
Tom

😕

Unless there is another type of 6.6V axial or an E series turbo head I don't know about... this might not be an easy fit.

thanks, I just realized that the axial is prolly a 4mm bulb:thinking:..was going to check..you just saved me the trouble.:twothumbs

I should buy a two cell host for that 6v bulb, then again...I do have the G4 for D26 module..so I can stiill use it without a new host...I must try it ..but not in an executive series..

I do enjoy my 11 volt 1.5mm axial in my 3 cell 2x18500 of the model in this thread.
