why does the e1e black fetch a higher price than the hard finish,did they make a few and quit thanx.
 
Black is beautiful...and supply & demand. :)

Surefire doesn't even sell them on their webpage...and many dealers don't have them in stock.

Actually...there really isn't that much of a mark-up with the E1e-BK's. There's a gun shop near me that sells them for $79.99....so after 8.25% CA sales tax, it comes out to $86.59. I've seen the E1e-BK's go for roughly $90 shipped USPS...so it's not much of a premium at all for a desirable color.

Of course, if you find a SureFire dealer with them in stock (which isn't too hard...yet) then they can be had for not a penny more than the natural HA version. I don't yet see a reason to pay a premium for them.

THANX,I JUST BOUGHT A NIB FROM,a local dealer for $70 + tax,itz really cool with a semi small cren bezel,i didn't realize how cool it looks till you get in our hands.
