I don't think surefire knows the answer to my question either. Have emailed them 3 times and have been ignored 3 times.Oh well,thanks anyways.

I'm unsure of the E1E, but an older E1L with KL1 head has around 22.6 - 22.7 mm lense (same size as an HDS/NOvatac etc).
I suspect it's the same for the E1E.

Not to hijack the thread--I took out my E1e lens to clean dust out of the reflector area that was showing up in the beam at short distances. The two thin gaskets got just a bit roughed up and the beam looks even dirtier.
Anyone have thoughts on hygiene and maintenance of the E1e lighthead and where I can get new gasket rings?
Also wouldn't mind an internal diffuser lens instead...

You can try lighthound for the gaskets. They also have lens,but don't know if they have the type or size you need. Don't bother contacting surefire. As Illum the nation implied,they're not too good with personal attention,but their javascripts are always showing.:nana:

Was just contacted by email from Alex ,at Surefire. They are more than taking care of my lens problem! Great customer service! I knew it all along.:thumbsup:
