Got an E2 on order from Nor'east Knives. Anyone checked to see if it fits in the cloth holster that comes with the MagLite AA?

Thanks
Joe

Good point,

I use the Pelican StealthLite holster for my G2/C2/M2 sometimes. Not ideal but it works...

I hope we get an answer to your question!

Another one of my customers reported good results using a Scorpion holster. I have a Ripoffs flashlight holster taht fits the Scorpion and SF 6P well but is too loose for the E2- rattles around too much unless you have the flap pulled WAY down. I'll take a picture and edit this later on.

The E2 will fit into the Mini-Mag AA holster with a little effort. The clip of the E2 needs to go on the outside of the holster though because the E2 is slightly wider than the AA Mini-Mag. Just direct the clip over the outside of the pouch and then slide in the E2 and it will fit like a charm.

Also, just enough room is provided on the bottom of the pouch to prevent the light from activating from pressure on the tailcap, much like the actual SureFire pouches. This of course occurs because of the slightly shorter length of the E2 as compared to the Mini-Mag.

If you also carry a Leatherman, check out the combo sheaths at www.leatherwork.com. It's expensive but looks (in the pictures anyway) like top quality stuff.

On this same topic, I am trying to find a pouch that has a flap to cover the lens. I had one from Uncle Mikes but I cant find a new one anywhere. The one I had fit the minimag and worked for the E2.

I prefer to have the lens covered and protected.

Any suggestions?

I have been carrying mine in an old pouch sheath for a Microtech SOCOM, and it works well. Will be getting some more pouches soon and will let you know how it works.
