I am new here and I guess the bug bit me because I have been to 5 Walmarts in 2 days looking for a Legend LX and am now thinking of just getting an E2 but I also like the LS hmmmmmmmmmm....any ideas on which would be a better first choice? Also to add to the connundrum I see that you guys are saying the E2 is getting an upgrade and if so should I wait for the newer model?

I would suggest you get the Arc LS for Christmas and make it your New Year's Resolution to get a 2002 E2 (either Executive or Elite depending on preference)

get both, the E2 to carry on your person. The Brinkman for the car as a spare.

Apples to Oranges. I've not seen the Arc LS but I'm sure it wont compare to the E2 in output. If you want the best in performance
*and* small size, the E2 is very difficult to beat.
Me? I'd buy 'em both. Each has it's place and you'd end up with the best of each respective technology that money can buy.
(At least for today, who knows about tommorrow?)
The LX? Sure, why not? Cheap enough and good performance. Get one for the car or the house. An E2 in your pocket, LS on your keys, LX as the back up. You'd be ready for anything.
