e2dl with ground bezel

I wonder if grinding down the spikes ona e2dl would effect the beam
throw vs. spill??? mabe it would make it spill more?? I like the light but I dont like all the pointy edges, I could get a different switch and grind the points down, but I dont want to spend all that dough and have the beam suck afterwards.

Will probably affect only the outer edges of the corona; it'd make the beam rounder, a bit wider if anything. No effects on the actual throw, since that is controlled by the optic itself.

While you're at it, take a look at what M I K has to offer in terms of grinding down e2fl teeth:

greenLED is right, it only made the beam rounder and does not affect throw. I sanded my E2DL after I found out that it was chewing up my pants. It took like an hour and some sandpaper. I love the two modes of the E2DL but not those teeth, it actually looks good with the silver black accent.:naughty:
