I just read on Cruiser40's post about the Eagle Tac t20c2 mkII (xm-l).
It has an output of 550 lumens.
I didnt know this light existed!
I just looked on Eagle Tac's website and I dont see it. It shows the r5 as "new''.
I went to Illumination Gear and there it is!!!
I'm new to this hobby but I dont recall seeing another light that uses a single 18650 that has this level of output.
Does this light in this configuration have a good combination of throw and spill?
My current edc light is a p20c2 and I would like something with more output and better throw.
After reading the specs on this light, it seems to be one I just cant do without!
Is this thing as good as it sounds? Wow many of you guys have it and what do you think of it?

I have one and it's a very well built light. Useable throw out to about 75-100 yards and a good wall of light to about 50 yards. Hidden strobe mode so you don't have to see it if you don't want to. Can run on a single 18650 or 2 x cr123's.

Hi Yamaha,

The 2011 T20C2 MKII is my second of these lights and although you could spend countless hours trying to pick out the absolute perfect light for your needs, the 2011 T20 is a wonderful choice as a general purpose, multi-mode, mid-size EDC light w/ the ability to change out light engines to suit your needs. But I would just order the T20 with new XM-L T6 light engine which strikes a very nice balance of floody throw. Although it settles in to no more than ~400 lumens max, it's certainly plenty of output for a light of its size and build quality. It also comes loaded with accessories including a diffuser lens which I use constantly inside our house because it provides a zero-hotspot wall of light. Feel free to PM me for more info and my recommendation of where to buy it.

All the best,
John
