Hi all , i'm not sure on where to put this post/inquiry .
Does anyone know which resistor on the C1200 III circuit board is responsible for the current limiting on the HIGH setting? i would like to experiment from 750ma up to 1a :candle:.

Thanks , Paul

A bit of information .
As i could not figure out what is what regarding the driver board i realized i had the driver board from the XP-G drop-in sitting there doing nothing! , so i swapped over the xp-g board into the xr-e drop-in just to see what happened .

Standard xp-g was 991ma on high , standard xr-e was 774ma on high , Now the xr-e is 840ma on high and looks brighter(no light meter here) and at the edge of the distance of the beam (271m) is now half as much again or double? ie:low moonlight to a higher moonlight effect.

Whilst watching tv , i had the light on high beside me and pointing out the room , after 15mins was slightly warm at the head , then at 1/2 hour it was warmer from the head to halfway down the body , noticeably warmer than standard BUT not worryingly warm or hot , it'll do me! .
Cheers Paul .
