Ebay bike light available anywhere else?

It looks great. I would love to know if it uses P60 drop ins. I've not seen it anwhere else.

Hi saw this bike light on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....5&_trkparms=algo=SI&its=I&itu=UCI&otn=4&ps=42

Wondered if its available anywhere else that anyone knows of?

Thanks Rob

That light is a Romisen RC-N3 with a seperate battery pack, and at £30 all in with postage it is overpriced.

I have 2 of the standard versions that can be bought at Dealextreme for less than £10! link http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.9070

I would go for the one at DX and use AA NIMH batteries as it runs of CR123As also and is bright on RCR rechargeables.

The spot is really too narrow for biking. A diffuser may help.

A brighter Q5 version is available from shiningbeam.com.

It is very well made and a great light with a great runtime, but is nowhere near 200 lumens.

This mount is the same one that the ebay light uses too! http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8274

BTW Dealextreme shipments can take a while but to Belfast for me they usually take 6-8 days.

Hope that saved you some money!

Thanks Tony I use deal extreme for most of my light stuff, wasnt sure what light it was though, i like romisen's lights so the quality should be fine. Only asked because I half expected to see this on Dx or Kai at £15 or something. knew i could get a light and the mount cheap but the battery holder seemed handy to increase runtime.

The battery holder does seem handy but I have only ever seen it on ebay and not in DX/KD unfortunately. I have 2 RC-N3's but haven't had the ba**s to see if using the extra AA extension and making it a 3xAA light would be a good idea but its probably fine as Bessiebenny and others have used freshly charged 16340's at 4.2 volts with no problems.

Hi guys

You could always ask DX to get it in?

They have a product request area on the DX forum. I asked for more reflectors ages ago, and they started getting more in that week!

It is a bit hit or miss. I also asked for some 3AA to D adaptors, but nothing happened.

Worth a try, they may sell it cheaper than the ebay seller.

cheers
