So I am convinced that it is a good idea to EDC, actually I have been doing so for about 16 tears with a minimag before switching to LED after discovering this site, and I now agree its a good idea to have a back up as well, come in my AAA mag Solitaire on my keys, and I have decided that it is a good idea to have back up batteries as well, so I am going to get a spare and a charger and a batt holder, but I was wondering how you all carry it.

I hate having stuff in my pockets, I am fairly lean and so a bulge in the pockets is not the best look, I wear a suit at work.
Casually I wear jeans or shorts or trackpants/cargos, with a t-shirt, sweat shirt or jacket and I usually have a mini courier bag with me that holds my cell, wallet, keys, iPod, leatherman, fountain pens, paper, and of course, my torch.
Going to the movies, for instance, I would drop it in a jacket pocket, and walking the dog it would probably go on a belt, camping in a pouch, I used to have a great holster for my mini mag (still do) but not for my Novatac, one that held the torch and a spare cr123a would be great if anyone has one that they could reccomend, otherwise maybe I will try sewing some leather together.

How do you guys usually carry your stuff around? What works for you, is comfortable and secure and does not make you look like batman, or a sex offender?

You might want to check out gear from Maxpedition, 5.11 Tactical, Oakley, or Spec-Ops brands. You shouldn't have trouble finding good prices, but shipping to your location could be very expensive. Good Luck!

At the bare minimum I pocket carry a light and knife at all times.

Most of the time however, I have a manbag.

Courierware Messenger in the small size. I have two cargo pocket organizers that ride in the interior pockets that hold various items from spare contact lenses to band-aids, wet-wipes, and duct tape (about 5 feet re-wrapped around and old credit card).

The bag also carries a spare knife, spare batteries, multitool and misc other doodads with plenty of room for a small notebook, jacket, or snacks for the kids.

If I want to travel light but still have some first-aid stuff, I just grab one of the cargo pocket organizers.

I just carry my stuff in the jeans pocket, jeans and a shirt are my daily wear..
Im in college so its not so formal. Anyway, the stuff Im carrying are a leatherman, fenix 1 X CR123 light, wallet, keys and cell.
All this goes in the jeans pockets and are not bulky at all.
I sometimes would want a whole lot of more stuff with me everyday but that creates the problem "how to carry it??". So I dont, If I really needed some extra things, perhaps for work, I probably would go and get a "man purse". I always thought this was kinda non-manly but what should you do? :)
Theres a lot of different gear slingers and other bags that would be good, they all are rather manly.
I love carrying stuff on the belt, its very comfortable, and very easy to reach, after a while it feels natural taking the light, cell etc from your belt. The muscles learn where you have the different stuff and just grab the right thing.
Kinda like you dont look where you should scratch yourselves if you have an itch! :)
The problem with this are that you easily start looking like batman! :)

I feel that I might ramble a bit here, I say go for the thing that you feel the most comfortable with!

Go Batman!

No seriously though i Usually carry a minimag 2aa led at work all the time. i am considering a light such as a fenix p2d/p1d/l2d for a brighter light and/or more runtime.

Well I EDC my L4 which is on me at all times, and my cell phone, wallet and keys and that's usually about it. Well I do have a spares carrier in the car along with my knife and a few little extras but I don't really like it when my pockets are about to explode. And a fanny pack is just not an option.:thumbsdow

If I am wearing cargo pants I carry most of my EDC gear in a Spec-Ops pocket organizer in one of my thigh cargo pockets. If I am not wearing cargo pants, I put a smaller selection of EDC gear in my pants pockets, in addition to the Arc AAA-P on a titanium chain around my neck. Occasionally I take a "man-purse" with me, a Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack, if I know I'm going to need more and/or specialized equipment.
