EL ergo flickering and rotating batteries...

I have this EL Ergo with Lithium batteries for about 5 months now, and sometimes the light flickers a bit, I remove and reinsert the batteries and it seems to go away, why does this happen?

One more thing, when I remove the batteries I rotate them so the one that was most forward is now the one that is farther away, does this help keep the same volts on the three batteries or is just a waste of time?

I had a similar thing and it took me ages to track it down....my problem at least.

I had a bad lithium battery. You could take IT (one of the 3 ) out and measure it and all looked fine. All batteries were reasonably close. Under load, it would immediately suck down to under 1 volt or so. I have 3 DVM's and one has a feature to put batteries ( 1.5 and 9 volt ) under a load and then measure voltage.

I replaced the "bad" one and all was fine...so I replaced all 3 and kept the other 2 in a drawer and threw the bad one away. It made the led's behave in a strange way that they did not normally do.

I recently got my first Infinity....for the sole purpose of playing with the Arc head mod and running down INDIVIDUAL AA batteries.
