This custom flashlight mod built by Wayne, of Electrolumens, sports four 3W LEDS, and 4 highly efficient Fraen LP Collimating Optics using a Mag 2D as the host. Power is supplied by 6 AA batteries using two V2-3-To-D battery holders.
Condition is new, just the way I received it, with maybe 10 minutes of run time. This unit puts out a lot of light!
One of the V2-3-To-D battery holders is missing one of the three little pegs from the cap that screw the cap down. The holder works fine inside the light, but does not stay closed when outside. I believe Wayne will replace the holder, and they can also be bought from his site for $4.50 apiece, IIRC. The light works perfectly fine in it's present state.
