But why need a minimal 5A battery if it max pull is 2.8A?
As the volts decrease under load the current increases. The cushion is good to have.

P.S. If you attempt to resolve it yourself, I recall someone (perhaps @bykfixer) warned that if the bezel ring is over-torqued, it's not difficult to crack the optic element, so use moderation when tightening.Sorry to see. That is extremely disappointing. Stevie Wonder could've seen that! (unless of course if it shifted post-production). I hope you'll update us on how Elzetta responds to this.
Whoever it was who said that (on CPF) was not theorizing - they were speaking from experience. Perhaps they can add further enlightenment if they're on this frequency. A word to the wise......That optic element is really thick! I’m not sure you could crack it if you tried. Unless I’m mistaken.
I had 2 Gen 1 arrive cracked from over tightening. My Gen 2's have all been flawless. But when I swapped out the factory bezel for a QCB bezel I cracked one. It's not hard to crack it at the outside edge. Not only that, but over tightening can also make it less water resistant by squashing the o'ring flat. You just want to snug it up then a little more tight is all you need.Whoever it was who said that (on CPF) was not theorizing - they were speaking from experience. Elzetta quickly responded on my mail. Just remove the bezel and replace the oring. Which I already did. However, this is something that should've been noticed during QC.Sorry to see. My Charlie came without an oring on the body for the head. I called them about it and he asked if I bought it from another store, or third party. I said, "No, I bought it from you directly." He ended up sending me a new oring, but whoever is putting these together, needs to do a better job. Missing orings, smashed orings are indicative of no QA/QC.Elzetta quickly responded on my mail.
