Eneloop vs. IB2000?

Hi - does anyone know if the Eneloop can sustain as much current or has low internal resistance like IB2000.

For hotwire applications, on which type of cell will they run brighter?

I think IB2000 are high drain cells, made to run at high aperage rates...
anyway enloops are very good batts that can hold very well under the load of most popular "hot wire" bulbs like WA1185, WA1111, WA1331, ROP HI/LO....

If your bulb is running under 10Amps and you are using a stock or slightly modified Mag switch then the Eneloops are a good choice. However, if you are running over 10Amps and are using a Mag switch that has been modified for these currents then the batteries you want are the IB2000, Titanium 1800, or Elite 1700. Maybe not in that order. ;-)

I could not find a analysis of the IB2000 that replace the CBP 1650, but here are the analysis by SilverFox and CheapBatteryPacks for the EneLoop AA 2000, Titanium AA 1800, Elite AA 1700, and CBP AA 1650 batteries.

MY guidelines are to use Eneloops if you need a 7A sustained. Once you go to 8A or higher, I switch to Elite cells. I will never use Amondo Titanium or Intellect IB brand...way too many failures
