It is at least partially regulated, but I doubt 95 lumens out the front, maybe at the LED initially. The most you are going to get out the front is maybe 60. I think you can use NiMh.

How much does it cost?

Do you know what Luxeon it uses(my guess would be a Luxeon III, if yes, then you can pretty easily double the output for the same runtime)?

I'm gonna get flack for this but Lux III's are obsolete IMO. I'd only buy it if

1. It's cheap
2. It's moddable with a Seoul

There are also some good current gen LED lights on DX(Cree, Seoul, Rebel), but shipping will take at least 2 weeks. Look for one with good reviews.
