Energizer has 2 factories for Lithium cells, usa, and Singapore, actually factory in Singapore was opened 80 years ago. that factory is mainly for asia and oceania market, usually, maybe there was a shortage in usa, and they had to ship some from another factory, who knows. but they are no worse than made in usa
This thread was started over a decade ago and I haven't come across any reports in the wild of the Singaporean cells leaking or failing to live up to their specs in that time, so from an empirical perspective they've got my confidence.🙂
If they moved to China that would be bad. Why? Because you can only do so much with slave labor. I am fine with Singapore. Id prefer it to be in Japan and/or the US but still. I am sure Energizers profits have steadily rose with cheaper production costs.
