Looking at the Princeton Tec site there are:
1. An EOS which looks like the original but has the Maxbright Rebel and puts out 50 lumens. It seems to function like the previous ones. It shows a regulated burn time on high of 1 hour, medium of 10 hours, and low of 50 hours with a total burn time of 113 hours.
2. An EOS II which seems to be the one people are talking about in the HL forum with the two brightness settings. It is the same LED as the EOS. It shows a regulated burn time of 1 hour on high and 11 on low with a total burn time of 115 hours.
3. An EOS tactical with similar specs as the EOS but shows only 25 lumens with the same LED so this may be an error.
Here's my questions.
Are the light patterns the same for the EOS and EOS II, the only difference being the switching?
Are there any other significant differences between the two?
Member reports state that the EOS II has a wider beam than the original EOS. How do the throws compare?
