EverLED run time??

Anyone done run-time tests using 4AAs and an EverLED? I'm probably going to give it a try this weekend on a night bike ride, but thought I'd ask here first.

Also, anyone noticed big differences in the output of their EverLEDs? I bought 2 and put them in identical Specialized Astro bike lights and there's a large difference in the output and color. I don't have a light meter, but the difference is very apparent to the eye (light up the bush at 50 paces, test).

I tested it in 2C (Panasonic alkali). But the test does not go because I do not have a flashlight of usable 4AA in EverLED. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
