I started a thread at the Photon site suggesting an Photon useing larger batts. If you would like to voice an opinion on this idea please do so at www.photon.com and click on discussion board.

Thanks for voicing your opinion everyone (that only means lite-lover)...judging by the overwelming responce Photon can rest, assured that most people don`t want a Photon that runs longer and don`t mind replacing expensive batts often. Great team work guy`s.

And me.
Sorry I must have missed this previously and I`m not much of a regular at Photonlight so didn`t see it there.

Definatrly a good idea worth some thought by LRI

I just posted, but I noticed it has to approved by the moderator (communism in action). I said something about using Infinities instead unless they give it bigger batteries, so I'm wondering if it will go through.

I`m sorry Doug and Luffokc, I failed to make the assocation. I was surprised so few were posting as I had expected almost every active member to have something to say. I don`t know that it will do any good...let`s hope they care a little about what their customers would like. I believe the 2025`s have about twice the capacity and 2032`s close to three times. Please correct me if I`m wrong.

Guy, I`m very interested in Photons response to your post. Who knows, maybe your aproach is the best way to get results. Let`s just see if they even post it. I don`t know that they veiw the Infinity as much of a threat but the Arc light might give them a little headache. I would encourage anyone else who hasn`t posted to take a moment and do so.

I think the Photon board`s Moderator system is just there to remove Spam, Profanitys and other irrelavent or unpleasent stuff like that. It`s a company web site and probably visited by all sorts of people including "minors" (Kids) so they are just being careful.
Don`t worry though Guy, I saw a post on there a while ago that said something like "Orange Photons Totally Suck" so if that got through then yours should too.

Which manufacturer do we attack next, brinkman?, CMG? How about Craig for being so slow lately on posting his reviews... You can only milk an eathquake for so long...

SLOW?!?!?

I've done four reviews (at least preliminary test results) of four seperate products in the last six days!

It usually takes me a number of days to set up for and beat the crap out of a flashlight.

Yes, I'm still cleaning up after the you-know-what, but operations at LED CENTRAL are probably close to 90% of normal.

You should also realise I have approximately 20 products to evaluate, most of which arrived shortly before, during, and shortly after the big you-know-what, so when something new shows up on my door, it has to wait its turn - with the possible exception of the Arc Flashlight and a couple of recent loaners that someone might want back before 2002.

The only major source of delay now is the destruction of my lab (intentional this time

) to prepare for the installation of some very high tech test equipment.
And that I can work around, and conduct my reviews on the fly despite the carnage.

This item surfaced on my doorstep this morning.

Who says an earthquake can't be "milked" for all its worth?

I think I'll wear this for my next press outing, or for the next time I get a picture taken with a bunch of flashlights...
