Does anybody know of a charger that fits F-size nimh cells? I'm using 4 of them in a 6D maglite to power a P7 via 2 4xAMC7135 drivers in parallel (or at least I will be, when I can get the heatsink out and remount it).
You probably want one of the RC hobby style chargers, and then use magnetic leads or an external charging clamp of some kind. I think some people even manage to fit a charging socket on the light so they can charge the batteries in situ.
Since the F cells are longer than a D cell, they probably won't fit in any regular consumer charger.
Could have been either, some chargers will fry if you go over a certain capacity...my charger can go up to 4,000 mAh and the manual say not to go over or you could damage it, depends on the charger though.
LoL, I always thought F cells where what they used in 6 volt lantern batteries. (the good ones). Cuz some of the cheaper lantern batteries appear to be just four D cells and a lot of packaging around them.
Why can't you usethistype charger to charge all 4 at same tome?
It will take longer time to charge but I don't see any problem because it is about C/10.
