I am waiting for the additional bodies that I ordered. The Desert Ironwood was out of stock where I got it from, The dealer said that more is expected in a week.

Now that I've seen a picture of the Ironwood, I definitely like the looks of the burl better. Please switch my interest to that, 18650 bored.

Ironwood has a burl that looks better, too, but the wood Phil used is what I asked for. 😳Ironwood burl was what I was thinking about, but I didn't specify to Phil. Ain't no big thing. I am going to find a good piece of Ironwood burl and see what Phil can do with it. You can be assured the finished piece will be entirely different. This body will be for EDC, and the burl version will be for show. :devil: Stay tuned.

The additional bodies arrived today. I have some of the wood already cut. ( no Desert Ironwood yet )

Please confirm any items in the interest list in the first post. I will PM the paypal information at that time. I should be able to turn them around in 3 days, I have to wait for glue to dry and the lacquer to harden.

I learned on metal, in fact all the cutting I do is with HSS tools that I use for aluminum on a metal lathe. I don't use wood tools..
