so the most conservative estimate is still over 1,000 lumens on fresh cells.
I dont see a problem...can I leave both up?
all the way down to 7.8 volts its still at about 1,000 lumens, great for IMRx2x16340
your second chart is using a 1" reflector instead of a 2" but still impressive...
so this bulb could do alot more lumens if im using a turbohead in your measurements? the math from lux to lumens..hmmmm
Thanks for the info jslappa. But does a 1794 bulb fit in the FM MN Bi-pin holder? I thought the 1794 was a smaller bulb requiring FM's D26 bi-pin socket? I'd love to be able to use the 1794 in the M3 head if there was a way..

new results.
im trying to get the ball rolling already in fact.

Please add me to the list for 10 pcs 1794. They are remarkable bulbs for their size. From my own observations, they seem comparable in output to the WA 1111.
I'll second thatOK Im ready to proceed, I have spoken to Carley Lamps. found the file...spoke to my investor, and FiveMega who gave his blessing for this to happen.
We are a go!
!I just squashed one into an E2d on 2 x IMR cells, and a FM E series lamps holder ( TL3/ Stiron socket )
Its not pretty as there is small gap between head and body, as can't screw the bezzle down all the way due to focus issues.
I'd realy prefer it if you could ask carley to drop the filament height by 2 or 3mm to help get a better focus easier, but it is a bright little sucker.
Had to uprate the surefire stock tailswitch to handle the current draw.
