jslappa, thanks for tabulating the list. If FiveMega has any connections for a batch of 250, maybe show him this list. I think the interest in this setup has renewed after those like me saw what this setup can do. It just never caught my attention until Nite asked me to test his bulbs.

Nite, I made a post in your sales thread for another setup like last. Please confirm if you have all in stock, and I can send payment. AW's new higher 2600mAh capacity (vs. previous 2200mAh) 18650 cell also makes this an even more appealing setup.

Well if he can can order 250, so can I, its just there's a discount after 500 on custom lamps, that will make this project possible...they want to be paid UP FRONT. So, someone has to lay out alot of money.

given that its been 2 years, and FiveMegas motivation was too give us working lamp assemblies with a bulb installed, not make money by selling bulbs...so its gonna cost more than what he sold them for.

Its up to my investor. Maybe I should PM FM. :thinking: then again im sure theyve emailed him.

I called CL today and said I wanted to place an order...they just need a reply by email, and im sure FM read his mail..I just dont think he is aware they want both verbal and written consent to Make his intellectual property available to me, and just me.

I wonder how many of his bi-pin customers are out there as potential customers, and how long will it take me to sell the other 250-275.

Im hoping this happens right away, theres some time to wait for production as well.

I had almost forgotten about a thread I posted a while back on my first IMR hotwire: 2xIMR16340 + FM1794 in my little C2. I was blown away by the crazy output of this thing that I did some ceiling bounce shots comparing it's output to some other lights I had, including a 580 lumen WE Sniper P7.

The 1794 so completely blew away the P7 (looks almost twice as bright) that there was some controversy in the thread (now mysteriously missing...) regarding the white balance or something else causing the perceived huge difference in output. Nope - this 1794 is just a beast...

I could buy a few FM1794 bulbs now that i have ordered my first FM D26 socket. So, count me in for at least couple bulbs.

NO more 11 volt Axial bulbs "the wall of light" also custom made.

I will have to start a feeler for them now as well.

is anyone interested in a feeler for them? this is a feeler for a feeler!

if I make the 1794 happen then I want the axials to be made as well, they're just as bright but draw less power, albeit at a higher voltage.

they fit E series heads unlike the 1794 and 1499.

I think I can get a warranty on the bulbs for 30 days, so if your on the list, yours will be the only bulbs that will have any warranty on them.

you can buy alot, test them all send back the bad ones for exchange...

Youd have like 2 or three weeks to return the defective ones...

I have neither the time nor the equipment to test 500 bulbs in 30 days without blowing them, twisting my wrists off or touching them while blinding myself.
if your not in this list...when the order does arrives, or buy within the first week or so..no warranty. also as stated earlier, if I get 500 it will cost only slightly more than FMs price, if I dont get a full 500 itll cost more.

Nite, I noticed this happening in the Marketplace thread where I bought the 2 x 18650 body/head/tailcap, and want to give you some constructive, friendly feedback: You confuse me too much. :duh2:

Keep it simple. This is a feeler thread about one bulb, and it sounds like you are trying to decide between ordering 250 & 500, assuming FiveMega gave his blessing in writing to satisfy Carley. If you cannot order 300 or 400 to get a price break, then you have to make that judgement, but I would guage sales follow through on posted interest in this thread.

I don't recommend that you add a whole new feeler for another 11V bulb (that I for one, never heard of), and "E" head into this topic, or say that they are now tied together. 😕

I'm completely lost trying to process your last post. Are you trying to say to those of us who are in jslappa's list that we are now in a "first group" status and should test the ones we receive for warranty replacement? If so, I think that should go in the actual sales thread where you keep track of who ordered, paid, & you shipped to.
