how does the e1 compare in brighteness with the rr 0.5?

According to Flashlightreviews, the Fenix E1 has about 2.7 times the light output of the RR 0.5 1AAA (also know as the Nuwai TM-310). E1 also has about 2x the run time on Lithium primary 1AAA batteries.

That is, the E1 is about 5x more efficient than the RR 0.5, not to mention the hard anodizing, tempered AR glass lens, perfect regulation, etc. Basically, the E1 is a different class of 1AAA light entirely.

I've had the E1 and the RR 2aaa. Both have a blue tint, the RR is worse. I put a SSCp4 in my E1 and the output almost doubled and is nice and white. That was $35 total , $25 for the E1 and $10 for the P4. If I had to do it over again I would order a Fenix LOp SE from the fenix-store and get three levels of output for $35 and a nice white tint. The LOp SE tops out at about 25 lumens per flashlight reviews.

The Nuwai/RR 2AAA is a much better light than the 1AAA in brightness and runtime. The step-up circuit is involved the whole time with the 1 cell light which makes it less efficient and much dimmer.

I have both and the Fenix wins hands down, The Fenix is brighter and has
a longer runtime than the RR on the same batteries

Don't know if there might be some confusion about which RR we're comparing. My RR 2 AAA seems a bit brighter than the Fenix E1.

the 1aaa rr flying turtle......i also have a 2aaa and its twice as bright as the 1aaa

I would pick up a 1AAA River Rock if I ever saw one, just to run it on a 3.7V lithium cell. :D

I generally use it for navigating around the house at night though and it would be almost too small.
