Hi All,

New to the forum here. Recently, my Fenix HL60R has stopped working. I am greving its loss, and Fenix will not repair it due to its age. An inspection reveals that the ribbon cable that connects the light to the battery and switch/charging port has been damaged.

I'd like to try soldering new ribbon cable onto place. Does anyone know the specs on the ribbon cable fenix uses in their headlamps? or how I can figure out which type of ribbon cable to buy?

Thanks 🙂

The only person that I know of that might be able to help you out is Vinh at SkyLumen.
Otherwise hopefully you can get it fixed yourself or depending on how much you like your HL60R and are willing to spend, you could always send it to Vinh to have him upgrade the LED and install one of his custom drivers. He did that for me after my HL55 got some water damage and wouldn't work. It has an output close to 2000 lumens now with a SFT40 LED installed.

Good luck and hope you get it fixed. 👍
