All shots are the same as my other thread, ISO320, F6.3, 1/25th.

I love the L0D-CE, excellent key chain light, superb punch for its size and great functions (can't wait for my P3D).

Nice comparo. The thing I love about those small reflectors is how wide the hotspot and spillbeam are with them. Sure the Minimag LED reflector throws considerably further, but I'm guessing that 80% of the time, I'd rather have a wider hotspot and as wide as possible of a spillbeam.

From the looks of your pics, the hotspot and corona are nearly as wide as the entire spillbeam of the Minimag LED.

That's true. In addition, if you put in a 10440 battery the increase in output is amazing--and the throw is excellent too. BTW, virtually all threads are now saying the light appears safe on a 10440 li-ion battery, even on high. I've taken up the cause and now use 10440 in it and use it on high, but only for a few minutes at a time as needed.

I should have said that the beamshot is using a Energizer E2 Lithium, I must get my hands on a 10440 so I can see the difference!
