For roughly the last week I had been unable to find my Fenix L0D. I figured it would eventually turn up. Then, while pulling the wash from the washing machine, my wife discovered the L0D. It had been in one of my pants and went through the wash.

Well, I took the light and it fired up no problem at all. I broke apart the light and there was no sign of moisture within the body of the light. It certainly lived up the manufacturer claim of being waterproof.

That is awesome news!

I had the same experience with an AAA-P and it was also fine. It is good to know that the Fenix can take the abuse also! I wonder what would happen if they ran through the dryer.

Good to hear that it still works. Haven't "unintentionally cleaned" any flashlights recently, but at various times my AA Minimag, SF E2e and TW4, Arc AAA, and misc Photons have done the "wash and dry" thing. None have seemed worse for wear. Perhaps our lights are generally pretty robust against the washing machine environment? :grin2:

A lot of people use Li-Ion rechargeables in the LOD-CE. Hopefully none of those go into the dryer. I'm not sure at what temperature Li-Ion will explode but that might get ugly in a dryer. Glad yours is okay.
