So Fenix is releasing a new flashlight, LR36R. Guess it's a next step of LR35R???
10,000 L also, but also has an LEP that will hit 4134 feet. Looks similar in size and shape to 35R. So I guess it will have that flood but and added throw. Looks cool.

Yea, unless theres some features or something else, kinda looks like the 35 is better unless someone wants the added laser. Kinda figured better all around with a brand new light? Guess until it is released and reviewed - and obviously compared to the 35 - the 35, at the price difference, is a nice pick between the 2.

From the specifications, it looked to me the LR36R is a mix of the LR35R and the TK30 LEP...except - unsurprisingly, really - the LR36R has less performance as either a flashlight or LEP.

As an owner of multiple LR35R's and TK30's, a combination of the 2 would theoretically be the best of both worlds, but I think it should also perform the same or better as the 2 lights individually.

One potential upside right off the bat is the LR36R is ~2cm longer (hey, 2 extra cm matters!) than the LR35R. The LR35R feels a bit short in my hand, when I'm holding it like I want. The pinky finger always wants to slip off the back of the light.

I am interested to see the side by side comparisons of them, and opinions of on them. You would think Fenix would always make 'better, brighter' with any new released lights they create. Kinda odd to take a step back.
