Can you get the Fenix P1D-CE into low mode if the battery is too weak to power the light at max power? (Since you've got to go through primary and max to get to the low setting)

I tried my weakest 123 -- that is one that tested 'dead' (no lights) on the ZTS 123 test nipple, but 80% on the lithium coin cell nipple, and it lit all 3 levels on the P1D ce though not as brightly as a fresh batt.. if that helps.. if I find a deader battery, I'll try it...

If I recall correctly, when I first got the P1D CE I was trying to see how low of a V
it will take. I recall it was drawing 1A at 1V and the body of the light would get
really warm. Can someone verify this?
