Are there any alternatives for a belt holsters for the Fenix P2D other then the factory version?

I would like something for the belt that has a Velcro strap to secure the light.

Is anyone offering anything for the Fenix P2D?

I put my one in my trouser pocket, and keep my P3D CE in my belt pouch made by Maxpedition (M1)

Your best bet would be to find some other type of holster maybe for pepper spray or something, look for police gear.

the pepper spray body is larger in diameter then the Fenix

also if an LEO may think u are carrying pepper spray and want to stop and talk to me :tsk:

I have some good ideas and bad ones that's a bad one.. Back to the drawing board.

Carry my Fenix L2D-CE flashlight in a RipOffs BL-153

belt holster, received 06/2006 from Bright Guy, for $10.95.

So glad that RipOff's have been saved from extinction.

Found 2 solutions for this problem.

1. Modifying the original from Fenix. Just sew a band of marerial and velcro or button to the holster to secure the flashlight. Your shoe repair shop could do this for a small fee.

2. If your biggest fear is to lose your P2d (like me). Just make a loop and tie your lanyard to the D shape ring from the holster. This way, you cannot lose your flashlight. It will stay within 7inch from the holster wich is tied to your belt.

Not sure about the purpose of this D shape ring. If it is there for this use with the lanyard, forget solution #2 and go to #1.

The Ripoffs BL-153 looks as though it would be too long for the P2D. A better model might be the BL-193. I've ordered one for the Nuwai ALX-2611X. If you will post the diameter of the P2D I might be able to give you an answer as to the suitability of the BL-193 when mine arrives.
