FENIX PD31 QUESTIONS!!

Hey All:

First timer! Just had a quick question does the new FENIX PD31 fit in the given fenix headband, its diameter is stated at 24mm while the limit for th headband says 22. Will 2mm make any real difference?

Also, will the standard red filter for the PD/LD series of life work on the newed pd31??

I think head on the pd31 is larger than the rest of the pds so I don't think any accessories will fit, correct me if I am wrong. I'll check the headband shortly when I get home.

It does fit just fine on the clamp. Anything bigger probably would not.

Go easy on the clamp as I had one snap on me the first time I used it. I didn't overdo it on the tightening. Dealer replaced under warranty with no questions asked and even sent me an extra.

I have found that anything larger than 1xaa size is awkward on the headlamp, so I havent yet tried my pd31. Lemme know what you think.

I have fenix pd31 for about six months, and I still do not know what regulation is integrated.
Is it buck, boost, or combination of this two? I know that is digitally regulated, but what that means?
I am really confused, so I will appreciate any help!
