Apparantly Fenix has decided not to include a plastic case with the TK70 light.

So those of you who are getting one, any ideas of what to use for a carrying case?

It's a tough aircraft grade alu, hard anodised, ipx8 waterproof flashlight. I'm just going to carry it in my hand, or with the strap it comes with. I don't imagine I'll need a case for it. When it finally arrives...

what?!? no case? How will Fenix ships this thing to the local stores?
How do you know the tk70 isn't coming in a box?

Is this it?

oops not it! 😀😀😀

But seriously, it is anodized aluminum I know, but I'm the kind of people, what do you call them? who baby their stuff and can't stand scratches.
I've been looking at possible musical instrument cases like flutes, or maybe a cheap telescope case? 😕

Nice, that was fast.
It would be OK to store it in I guess but I would hate to have to assemble it every time I go some place with it.

Hmmm, is that two end caps I see?

Yes, I'll also post some pics and maybe a video if I have time.

Please post some long distance beamshots to help us see the throw on that baby!

If anyone is interested I managed to find a nice padded soft case for my tk70. It is a Protec flute case cover I found on Amazon and it fits the light perfectly!

Thanks for the heads up Pandorum. I ordered the Protec case cover at the same time I ordered the TK70. Of course the Protec came first. My TK70 just arrived and fits the case nicely. Thanks. This light is going into my truck.
