Hey all
Just wanted to post that i built my very first nexgen light engine last night. I've got a lot of badboys and downboys but this is my first nexgen. It's a Nexgen 750 with a TWOJ lux3. It's freakishly bright. I wasn't expecting how much brighter then nextgens could be. It only slightly flickers going from hight to low but its not that noticible. I'm just happy that it acutally works from one 123 as i was planning on having to use R123s with it. Looks like i'm going to have to build up replacements for most of my badboys....

Welcome!

An R123 will actually make the thing just a little bit brighter yet. Probably not noticeable, however - but you should see the full 750mA with the Li-ion. A CR123 is capable of providing just over 700mA in my experience. If you want regulation from a CR123, then there's no reason to go higher than 750 on the NG... Good choice!
