Good to hear that you're on the mend Dom. Hope you get back to full working order soon.

My min-T has been doing some sterling service over the Christmas but the next big test is coming up soon.

24hr racing in a Scotish winter About 17 hours of darkness. :eek:oo:

Re: Taking Orders/Payment : min-T CNC Bike Light

Wow, after reading through the 7 pages on the min-T this really does look like a very nicely designed light! I particularly like the adjustable ball and socket and o-ring mounting system :twothumbs Have there been any thoughts to doing larger versions with maybe 5 or 7 LEDs?

Regardless, I'm definitely interested in getting a shell kit if any are still available and if not please add me to the list for the next run.

Regards,

Karl

Thanks Paul -
The biggest pain was not being able to make any more lights over the Crissy break.Looking forward to getting on the bike again.

All the best

Thanks for an amazing piece of jewelry!!! So butiful and bright shining.

Is it bFlex_V1.1 or V2 inside? (Is it max 20V or 25V battery i can use?)
Is there any difference in efficiency between using 14,8V or 25V?

Now Im going out on a "shine out" duel on XC skis, against my Light&Motion HID armed friend :naughty:

Thx again guys!:twothumbs:twothumbs:twothumbs:......

It is most likely 1.1 (V2 did not start to ship until after this program was in full swing), so 25V input would be fine. Best efficiency is normally when Vin is closer to Vout. 14.8V is typically ideal for this 3-emitter setup. If you are going to buy a battery specifically for this light, your best choice is definitely 14.8V in any capacity that suits you.

Re: Taking Orders/Payment : min-T CNC Bike Light

Glad you are happy with it Gunnar and hope you have many bright hrs of use.

I'll update the 1st post as everyone receives their min-T.

Hi Darell -i can't change the title of the post to reflect that the sale is finished (was just going to put "finished" on the end of it so people can still find it easy to check what's happening).
Hope you might be able to remedy this thanks :)

Cheers

Ok, let's see if the title change worked....

Yup! Every new post will have it. Not possible to change existing posts unless I go in and do each one manually. But I think this'll do, yes?

I am from austria and I am trying to built my own headlight.
I am looking long time for a nice switch.
[FONT=&quot]maby you can tell me where you bought it and what part number?
and how do you fixed it in the housing?

Hi Mario:welcome:

No secret -this should be in the assembly pix at the website anyway.Just haven't had the time to do it.

The legs are bent up and they provide a stop on the inside top face on the holder.
Run Sikaflex around the edges of the switch and some on the inside top of the holder and let the switch set so it is level.
Then pot the whole lot and stick it in the housing.

The switch is the "3C" type -i didn't buy them from here though.

Dom, i`m so pleased yer out the hosi and on the mend mate ....
.... i had a 4.4Ah/14.8v li-ion pack simmering on the back burner ready for immediate action.......
an hour after i unpacked the min-T me and a couple of mates, armed with 10w orange/yellow halogens headed for the woods....
it was great! ... every time i fired up the min-T they started laughing :)
the 25degree wall of light optic is perfect for narrow twisty wooded tracks
........ Thanks again dom
