Will the d4s reflector work with the e07? I'm just curious for those that want a d4svn with a 21700. The head is almost identical in size.

It's interesting that the D4Svn is getting 1250L per W2, while the E07vn is getting 835L per W2. There are probably many factors behind this.

That beamshot looks sweet, Vinh!

Numbers dont mean everything. Beam wise D4Svn look like a light with reflector. Hot spot corona spill. E07vn has all the output in a large hot spot.
I've both lights but w2 on the EO7, beam is exactly as Vinh described.

Do you have a favorite? Have you been using one more than the other? I'm curious because I don't have a D4Svn, just three E07's with different LEDs.

Certainly do the beam pattern on the D4S (mines an LED combo not listed anymore on the store) this says it all

My D4Svn ends up somewhat neutral, as my eyes are used to CW lights it looks a bit yellow but when out on its own i cant pick it.
The SLN in my triple blue setup has an outward cone of light like the new Olight Pro Warrior, just wish i had chosen green or white too much loss of visual clarity with blue.
Both of the above beam patterns i like but the D4S does throw further than E07, the D4S makes a nice companion if i want a short stubby fat light :)
Prefer D4S and have used it more.

The latest batch of E07 I bought switched to a 25deg optic. The previous ones were 45degree. The hotspot is noticeably smaller and more defined.

You can PM fireflies but don't expect any answers from them for a few weeks. It's Chinese New Years.

:eek:oo: Well, this could be interesting! Didn't Vinh try to find some 25° optics a while back and we came up blank? It would be great if they're available now. I'd probably switch out at least two of my E07's.

Yes, maybe if they are a direct swap out, he could obtain some and we could in turn buy them from him......?

While talking to Fireflies about offering face masks to us, they said a customer in the US is having problems with his two E07 with Osram and asked if I want them and see if I can figure out the problem. I received them and washed them down inside out with detergent and rubbing alcohol as I do for all my new lights and put it to the test. Surprisingly both work flawlessly and I ended up with two amazing lights for free!! woohoo!!! :D

I tested them using the Texas Ace Lumen Tube calibrated with Maukka lights and Sekonic C-800-U spectrometer. Output measured at 2s from turn-on.

Output is very slightly higher using Samsung 30T over 40T. I think 40T is the better cell so it doesn't get so hot so fast. Output is a bit lower than I measured the E07 XP-L HI v2 5A. The tint is very pure white on Top of Ramp and Turbo modes. On lower output, it is a good bit above the DUV but due to the high CCT I don't notice the green.
