First Madmax

I just got my madmax from a trade with a forumite. It's violet, which I really like, like the KL1's. I was concerned it would be too bright for close up work but it's not IMO.

Mine is setup in a M@g with NX05 optic. How would this compare to the KL1, how about the badboy 400?

I have a BB400 w/Q2 and NX05 in a Mag. I think it's a lot like the light output from the KL1.

I'm looking forward to the Madmax with Q3 that is heading my way to be brighter and whiter light.

I like my BB400/maglite better then the E2e/KL1 combo so far /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
