First Run PD now SSC

Hey all
With all this excitement over the crees' and SSC one can really find themselves wanting a new PD. I would love a new TI-seoul pd but unfortunately i have a job that keeps me from the constant refreshing it would take to catch one of the New PD's. So my first run U-bin PD needed a facelift, plus it would take soo much time to get 2 years of scratches and dings on a new one anyway
The difference in output, especially the corona is outstanding even with its lowely first run Wiz2x2 500ma high converter. Next step would be to cross my fingers that i one day can stumble upon a new GDX2 converter or be in the right forum at the right time for a new TI Seoul. But for now my first Run PD franken Seoul is doing me just fine.

Nice Jimmy, how hard was the swap? I have a PD that can use the facelift as well.

It was not so bad of a project. Only nerveracking part was that there really aren't any driver boards available so a little mistake could be very tramatic!

Nicely done, Jimmy! Is that the original reflector? How'd you deal with the change in focus point?

Nope its a Mcr20-s. Its got a bit of a donut if your about 3 inches away but its well worth it as i'm done with my wall hunting days. the hardest part is getting the Seoul base to fit but hey there is nothing a dremmel cant do! Now i'm thinking that i may have to rent the BBX2 150/950 from my Hd45lux5. that would give me one hell of a scortcher with my PD. I could then put a Seoul in my HD45 and the wizard 50/525 converter for nice output and super long runtime, super throw light.... HMMM so many options.
