I just picked up a Fisher Space Pen for front pant pocket EDC. Anyone have a good hint to keep it from coming out of my pocket when sitting? (ie. something to help grip the inside of my pocket) I have the silver metal body pen. Lots of my summer "polo" shirts don't have pockets /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Deeper pockets? We all could use those! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/broke.gif

Could you find a place to carry it in your wallet?

Other than that you could put a wrap of friction tape on it to help keep it from sliding out.

Last suggestion would be a belt pouch/sheath or some kind of a "man purse" like a Maxpedition FatBoy.

I thought about the rubber band thing, not too elegant but I will probably use it. THANKS

Fisher sells an optional pocket clip for the pen. That might help if you have something to clip it to. They also sell a card wallet that holds a bullet pen and I think they also sell a small leather sleeve for the pen. Any of those might help and would be more elegant than the rubber band. If a standard rubber band looks too junky for you, you could remove the rubber grip from a disposable pen, cut a small piece off and slide that over the body of the bullet pen. That might look more refined.

Mine has never fallen out of my pocket even though I just carry it loose.

They are nice pens. Enjoy.

This does not exactly help you with the pen you already bought but I bought a black space pen (no clip) and it stays in my front pants pocket. I think the black paint has a little more friction than the silver coating.
