Another request for 1 X 16340 with no flats! Black HA.

Four to six weeks (or even a little more) happens to be just fine with me right now. I'm way more tapped out than expected right now (dental work = ), but will definitely buy if a full-round 16340 is offered in the near future, even if it has to go on credit card... lol.

Offhand, this seems to be a great venture, Nite! Sounds like you've helped to make these great FM products available to more people, and for less money. Might I be so nosey as to inquire if this helps free up FM to create more awesome stuff? My wallet wants to know in advance.

Based on time to redesign, the metal shop production lead time, then anodizing, then shipping to my guy.
A lot longer than Id like.

the term four to six weeks comes to mind. I too would prefer it rounded.
it shouldnt be a problem mechanically, less milling then more knurling tho.

Yes, I've bought now, with the understanding that I'll be waiting for the next run with no flats. 4~6 weeks or longer is fine.

I'm almost positive the flats are milled on the sides after the round body has already been knurled, making actually one less maching step; I could be wrong though. Either way, I'll wait.

I think you are right. one less milling step.

the hard part is predicting then getting stuff in to match what the reality of the market is...

ie running out of 20 or more 16340s when i have over 100 2x18650

Im waiting for the first batch to arrive..UPS during the holidays is alot of shipping time (im asking for insurance just in case) plus large sums of money are being moved around during the holidays. I expect a shipment by friday unless UPS needs more than 5 Business days from the west coast. I could ask for faster shipping but that cost would be passed on to you guys.😱

Monday morning the metal shop is being asked to produce more FM 3P bodies, without the flats. Also I will ask if they can do Olive Drab.

This will require an additional charge as other colors are not part of this, my first run. this first run will arrive in two shipments I believe.

Who is willing to pay more for OD in any size? and how much more? if I were to make only 10 pieces in OD itd be an additional 12$ per piece, 20 pieces 6 $ more, etc....these prices are only complete guesses as examples..If I had more than just one person with a request/deposit for 10 pieces we can do OD in any size, in the future.

I'd still be looking for the 16340 to be black HA, thanks for the feeler though. As funding appears, I think I'd be down for something in OD.

Plus if you look at the popularity of say Leef's bodies, I don't think you'll be sitting on inventory forever.

Any color other than black: minimum cost of anodizing is $150 plus 8% environmental charge

What do you need OD for..oh camo? Military? Anyway those are pretty discouraging figures for an OD only run..if enough people are interested the price wouldnt be higher...much..if only a few...alot.


so also Sounds like You guys wanting OD etc, cant guarantee an "exact" match to your parts..and will need buy a few, of any size however....I suggest an OD "group buy".🙄
