I will start a separate thread with a discount for 3Ps with a round body if I ever get one. it will have a pre sale discount as well.

4 - 6 dollars per body."
Any doubts I had are gone now....the deal is a money maker..albeit at a slim margin since we paid more for the 3Ps than we expected too; due to the fact the demand is a surprise to me. I bought one for myself however for a new AW 123 LiMn cell. Also, for myself, 1x18650 for 2 of them driving an FM1794 or P91
Anyone interested in a FM 18500x1 body? It can be a part of this sale or another. Shall I bankroll a run of these babies, no flats of course.

I just had a thought. I have been buying Heads and tails for myself like mad...a pair for every FM body I have bought, along with his lamp D26 assembly for myself.
You will also need a METAL and Glass/Pyrex SF 9P head and a Z59 Tactical clicky. These bodies when used with a metal and glass head move heat away from the head quite well. Whether LED or Incandescent, anything being run by 2x18650 needs a metal and glass head.
save a step, save time, save on shipping. Add both for 60$ one head, one tail. No extra shipping cost. I know a guy.
these are better prices than what SF charges.🙂

My two cents on a small improvement that can be made to these bodies.
At the head and tail where the knurling ends, there is a shallow groove cut into the body. I suggest not cutting that groove, but instead just keeping the full tube outside diameter, a la a SureFire 6P round body (not the current flat-sided 6P which also seems to have these decorative grooves). With these two grooves, there are two very sharp edges that abrade anything that contacts them.

As a 6P head might house a P61 lamp, I believe it is also Pyrex and metal as is the 9P. they are identical I believe. However I am positive the 9P is all metal and glass.
Yes you get both a Geuine SF Fully Metal and glass Head (important) and a Z-59 tactical tailclicky.
Many Surefires I have purchased in the past are plastic and glass like my G3, or Metal and plastic like the G2 LED. Only a 6P or 9P is both Metal and pyrex.

I know a guy, he seems to have an endless supply, I think the Z59 is 41$ plus shipping from SF just for the tailcap alone!

Not to mention the fact that for the head, I want to get the LU60A, so that I can get a black HAIII M2 head. Add to that the Malkoff M30WF I just ordered, and we're already hovering over $200. Crazy lol.

I'm interested in the head/tail combo. But LF says that the IMR-bulbs are not supposed to be used with clicky tailcaps. Is there a possibility for a standard twisty tailcap+head combo?

Lumensfactory is bringing out a new series of very high output bulbs to use with aw:s imr cells. They use so high current that the clicky tailcaps will fail... 🙂 There is a thread on the incan side...

The LU60A is technically a Weaponlight lamp assembly. Breaking it down to basics, it's the latest series M2 head (which would fit P,C,M series) with an additional adapter that screws into the back of the head, allowing you to mount it to any e series body (or in it's original purpose, to the weaponlight for use with an IR filter).
It's the only way to get a black HAIII M2 head (which to me just looks a heck of a lot cooler than the 6p head) and the adapter isn't available on it's own. It really expands the Surefire lego possibilities.
