if i not wrong, the place u indicate its where the infamous tomb is, right?

the defination of quick sand is having a vaccum or space under the sand.

i think the area is wet , therefore will sink in easily .... 🙂

wat tomb?

btw, u r rite about the vacuum effect.
it was SO difficult to pull out my feet its almost impossible to get out without help.

the scary part is, i did not know which area supported my weight until the surface suddenly caved in.

nevertheless, its possible to traverse the area. just need to know where is hard ground.

im pretty sure a lot of experienced ppl passed the area coz i saw footprints.

my ignorance. after googling again, i think u are referring to the water tomb.

i do not know the exact location and when i was there, i didnt see any tomb resembling those uploaded onto the internet.

perhaps on another walk, i would try searching for it.

Haha...better stick to something safe like our MacRitchie outing earlier this year. Really enjoyed that one esp the trail and the open area with the pavilion. Btw there will be some moon on 30th May according to NEA. Would that be a problem?

If there's moonlight, we'll just sidetrack and venture into the outskirt of the forrest a bit. Unless there's a way to plan a moonless night? :duh2:

Jim, you coming? If so, please update the list ya?

btw, anyone know if there is public transport to that area?

Also; we going to lim kopi before the walk into the trail or meet inside the trail itself?

What I meant was

Option 1
Want to kopi BEFORE the walk (examine the lights first) THEN go for the walk (test the lights)

Option 2
Want to kopi BEFORE the walk (examine the lights first) THEN go for the walk (test the lights) AND kopi after that too

Option 3
Go straight for the walk THEN kopi TKSS

Option 2. Will be better to examine lights up close, then see it's performances outdoors. And after that, we'll probably be thirsty and need the kopi for afters.

No, I'm not the Zul who pulled your pants down in front of the gals. 😗

I second that. So where we going to kopi first? Location not decided here.

i whole month to decide ........

:x

Actually, it'll be here in a blink.
I think the most comfortable and nearest place to meet is Thomson Plaza and take straight bus /cab down. I don't know how to get there from your suggested Braddell MRT. Toa Payph-wise also can.

Would prefer Toa Payoh (Easier for me to get there via MRT) but Thomson is ok too I guess.

Some can't say till nearer to the date, be it Sat or Fri. If Fri more people can make it, I'll ok by it. But if it makes no difference, I rather Sat because usually I'm not sure what time I can knock off from work on weekdays.

out of topic, i just tested the light in gunung pulai area.

was a feast for the eyes especially since there isnt any light pollution.

Now imagine testing more than 20 different lights with like-minded people in the dark.
