maybe i'll bring a 8AA modded mag with 3W LED, a lousy throw light. currently running on 8AA lithium cell... :naughty:

Fenix said they have mailed the TA30 from America to me in end-April for testing liao.. but till this day still haven't arrived

Scarli I end up having to do testing on the day of the meet itself :shakehead

Anyway I not really interested in the TA30. Looks like a TK10 with 3 CR123As and tweaked UI. Now if only they had sent me the TK40 for testing... 😀 (Maybe I can pull some strings. Let's see)

a lot of catching up to do... now all lights so powerful, pickup a LD01 recently, oh mamamia, so tiny yet so bright... most likely going to get either a TK11 R2 or TK40.

I didn't order anything - Fenix contacted me to do a trial run of their production TA30 and to give them feedback.

To put it simply; I'm the "Singapore-Fenix-Product-Tester" (I have no idea why the TA30 was introduced into the market BEFORE it was sent to me for testing though. It's weird).

Afternote: Fenix just informed me that they sent the lights through www.fenixoutfitters.com. This is real weird. I would have thought they would send straight from China, instead of going through the USA side.

From my experience would advise TK11 R2 if you plan to use as EDC. TK40 looks small in the pictures but is at least 1/3 larger than the TK11/TK11 R2.

Also take note that the TK40's tint is cool. Cooler than the TK 11 R2.

chanjyj - since i cancel my m30 order, at least i can 'play' with yr ta30, stroke function !! hopefully will arrive by that day lor.

But don't expect a single die TA30 to compare with quad die m30 in light output!

I assume the "stroke function" you talk about is actually the "strobe function"? 😀

As suspected, time past quickly, it's 2 weeks gone and we're meeting in about 2 weeks. Anyone else? Or anyone has an objection to the place and time? I believe my M2XC4 will make it in time, thanks to 4Sevens.

i hope my 5mw blue laser powerded by 18650 will be arrive by then , along with a 35 Watt HID with 6600mah battery (2 hrs run time) and lots of glow rings.
