Flashing brake lights.

They get my attention for sure but they are very annoying to sit behind in traffic. When we bought my wife’s car a year ago one local dealer installed them on all the models we were looking at as an option that was maybe $400. We bought the car from another dealer partially because I didn’t want to pay money to annoy the driver behind us.

These are horrible. I would never drive a vehicle with these. I saw them the other night for the first time and I would be embarrassed, at the very least, to drive a car with these.

The third (middle) brake light on our 2022 Nissan Murano flashes three times before turning on solid. I like it.

I was pointed to this thread in another thread of my own that I started.

I need to read up a bit more on this topic. I added an LED that flashes three times when brakes are applied because a friend bought a two pack and gave me the spare!
