They get my attention for sure but they are very annoying to sit behind in traffic. When we bought my wife's car a year ago one local dealer installed them on all the models we were looking at as an option that was maybe $400. We bought the car from another dealer partially because I didn't want to pay money to annoy the driver behind us.

These are horrible. I would never drive a vehicle with these. I saw them the other night for the first time and I would be embarrassed, at the very least, to drive a car with these.
I was pointed to this thread in another thread of my own that I started.
